In August 2024, NEW TALENTS RUHR - the RVR's talent development program - hosted a summit of young talents from various arts - with Pottporus as an expert for urban arts.

10 days of intensive workshops and exchange with our lecturers Rauf Yasit (Breaking), Rayboom (Hip Hop), Daniel Bausch (Visual Arts/Graffiti) and Schlakks (Rap). And they are the ones who have selected some outstanding talents for the mentoring program.

And now? For 2 years, the mentees work with their former lecturers and current mentors - on their skills, their art, their professionalization!

Visual Arts/Graffiti: Efe Marik, Carolin Glinka
Rap: Djiby Ndiaye

NEW TALENTS RUHR is an artistic talent development program of the RVR and the follow-up project to Kunstcamp Ruhr. The project is being implemented in cooperation with Pottporus, the Folkwang University of the Arts, the Theater im Depot, the Academy for Theater and Digitality and Urbanatix.
